Our process started with interviewing a varied group of people in Ivrea, Milan and Siena. Inspired by the people we met, we made a series of experience prototypes. Finally a set of defined proposals was presented to Telecom Italia management, who took four concepts further as business cases.

ViVi: Dream
ViVi DREAM allows you to keep a remote audio diary of your dreams. The service is combined with wake-up call, and collects your dreams every morning.

ViVi DREAM is a personal service, your dreams are privately kept on the remote machine. You regularly get an audio CD with your dreams in the mail for your own records.

ViVi: Album
ViVi Album is a voice message board. You can call this number, hear your nephew's fist laughter, and leave a message for him.

You can also listen to messages other family members have left. Every third year, the owner of the family album receives an audio CD copy of all the messages left in the audio family album.

ViVi: Diario
ViVi DIARIO is a printed copy of your information request. You might need some information repeatedly, or when you are away from the phone. Therefore phone numbres, train schedules, directions and cinema schedules can be especially useful on print.

The DIARIO provides you with a monthly printed copy of the information you have requested, and is a virtual history of your requests over time. Signing up for DIARIO, you pay a fixed subscription fee for information services, rather then paying for every call.

ViVi: Echo
ViVi ECHO allows you to leave a message to be played back at a specific time in the future. We imagine this feature to become part of life in different ways. As a reminder, ECHO makes sure that whoever is in the house gets the message.

In this scenario, you can leave messages to remind yourself when to take out which type of trash - the person who picks up the phone must take out the trash...

Encouraged to leave messages to further away in the future, messages become more personal and poetic.

ViVi: Quiz
ViVi QUIZ calls you every day at your desired time, with the question of the day. You can choose to test your knowledge about any topic from classic litterature and art to football and current news.If you manage more then 25 correct answers every month, you start to earn free talk time.

You can even buy a TeleBuzzer in the local phone shop and take part in regional phone group quizzes. The annual finals take place on national TV

ViVi: Ease
VIVi EASE lets you put together a package of services - and give them away to another subscriber.

If you would like to make life easier for someone who find it diffcult to set up services themselves, EASE can help you make the selction, activate services - and even pay them for someone else.

ViVi: Idolo
VIVi IDOLO is a service package that works in the same way as ViVi EASE. However, in this case we imagine that the personalisation features have been used for a different purpose.

Someonone has pretended to publish the personal services for the pop star Carmen Consoli, and make it accessible to fans. Via underground marketing, fans can access Carmens "messages", "dreams" and other personalised services.

ViVi: Local
ViVi LOCAL gives you news about local births, deaths and marriages. If your phone can access SMS you will find signals on your display indicating news. If you wish to spread news, you can list phone numbers of friends and relativs you wish to keep updated.

When you receive news, ViVi LOCAL offers you a series of ways in which you can respond: by telegram, by sendng a message, or by sending flowers.

ViVi: Verde
ViVi VERDE helps you grow and care for demanding plants. It reminds you when is a good time to sow, fertilise, grow and care for your plant.
